Join Us for Serve Day!

Serve Day is an amazing opportunity for our Countryside Family to come together and make a significant impact on our community for Jesus! This special day is dedicated to serving others through various projects.

This particular Serve Day is focused on a few different areas that are near and dear to our hearts. Please note we have serve opportunities throughout the day.

1. Helping Hands (3pm-6pm)

It's time for the annual postal service food drive, Stamp Out Hunger. This is a huge opportunity for Helping Hands to collect much needed non-perishable food. This opportunity will require being on-site at post offices that have been assigned to us and collecting food from the postal workers as they do their route. They will be picking up donated food from the homes on their mail route. We also have positions at our warehouse to help us sort the food that will be coming in.

  • Warehouse (3p-6p) 5150 Ulmerton Rd
  • Northside Post Office (3p-6p) 1201 Gandy Blvd
  • Gateway Post Office (2p-6p) 701 77th Ave N
  • Crossroads/Madeira Beach Post Office (2:30p-6p) 1275 66th St N
  • Gulfwinds/St. Pete Beach Post Office (4p-6p) 4222 22nd Ave S

2. Care Calls (10a-12p)
Help us love on our church family by making phone calls to check in, encourage, and pray with members of our church community.

We will gather together as a group at the Clearwater Campus to make the calls. This is a simple but powerful way to remind people they are seen, cared for, and not alone.

No experience is needed — just a willing heart!

Thank you for serving and helping us care for our church family.

3. The Pineapple Project (9a-2p)
The Pineapple Projects believes that HOME is where your story begins! Everyone struggles sometimes, and we want to help those who have risen above their past circumstances. They simply need some help with turning their house back into a home.

Whether it’s bedroom furniture to sleep on, or tables to have a meal together as a family, we make it happen! We pray that through our Projects, a family will see a community that respects them, loves hard on them, and this ripple continues throughout their
 life.

You will help to make a house a home including unloading furniture, setting up and placing furniture, stocking shelves with essentials hanging pictures, making beds and hanging curtains. Lastly but the best is welcoming the family into their new home.

4. HEP - Homeless Empowerment Program (10a-1p)
"A promise of home" where housing and critical support services empower men, women, children and veterans to take back their lives.

We'll be helping in their thrift store. Getting items sorted and ready for resale. This is an important arm of their ministry that helps fund the greater mission.

5. Teddy Bears (10a-12p)
Join us in making teddy bears for our Youth Dominican Republic Mission trip and pillows for our Helping Hands ministry.

Meeting Location: Countryside Christian Church in the SEU Room.

6. Care Portal (9a-12p)
CarePortal is a ministry that connects local churches to meet real and immediate needs within our community, bringing hope and encouragement to individuals and families who need it most.

This isn’t just another volunteer opportunity—it’s an invitation to live out the heart of Christ in our community. What begins as a simple delivery or phone call can become the beginning of a movement of hope that transforms both the giver and the receiver. An example might be to deliver grocery items or a bed to a family and put it together for them, and at the same time be able to love on and minister to the family.

Once you sign up, your team leader will connect with you prior to the Serve Day and work with you on what your assignment will be.

7. Yard Work For Widows (9a-12p)
Join us as we lend a helping hand with yard work for women in our community who could use the support. Whether it’s mowing, trimming, weeding, or cleanup, your time and effort can make a meaningful difference. We’d love for you to come serve alongside us and help bless these women in a practical way.

8. Sherriff's Youth Ranch (9a-12p)
Join us as we lend a helping hand with indoor and outdoor projects for this amazing ministry. This is kid friendly.
